ComfortCare Homes, which has been delivering innovative dementia and Alzheimer’s care to the region since 1993, has been named a silver award winner in the 2024 ‘Best of Wichita’ in the field of memory care.
“The Best of recognition is a testament to our continued commitment to serving those living with dementia and their families in Wichita,” said Micala Gingrich-Gaylord, CEO of ComfortCare Homes. “For three decades, we have served this community, and we’re excited to continue to do so and launch new programs to benefit those living with dementia and their care partners.”
ComfortCare Homes is expanding their programming with The Purple Line Project, which equips local businesses to welcome those living with dementia and their care partners.
Purple Line Project businesses receive dementia training and tips for making business practices more dementia-friendly. Participating locations are listed on the ComfortCare Homes Purple Line web page so care partners can plan stress-free and enjoyable outings with their loved ones.
“We continue to invest in our area through memberships on area boards and community organizations,” Gingrich-Gaylord said. “We are Wichita proud!”
